Total Relaxation with Binaural Beats
Some people are able to relax better than others. I know for myself I am one of those people who has a hard time relaxing until my body just gives up and forces me.
I do try to be as healthy as I can be and I am not into taking drugs or any type of medication unless it is my absolute last option.
Consequently I have worked on all sorts of natural ways to be able to relax and be calm.
Three things that have worked well for me in order to relax my body and my mind are:
- Exercise – When I am outside doing some type of physical activity like running, walking, hiking or kayaking I will totally de-stress and my body will completely relax. It is actually really quite amazing how physical exercise can completely transform my thoughts as well as my emotions and bring me into a positive state of being which of course then allows my body to relax.
- Breathing – I really got into doing some major breathing exercises a couple of years back and notice that it makes a massive difference in how I feel physically and mentally. Deep breathing can be a total release and if you can force yourself to sit and do it, there are many benefits.
- Binaural Beats – There are specific binaural beat recordings for relaxation and for sleep but I found that almost any brainwave entrainment product, no matter what it was specifically designed for, will completely relax me to the point where I almost feel like I am floating. When I combine the binaural beats with my deep breathing I will very often fall right asleep.
More on Using Binaural Beats for Relaxation
There have been times in my life where I have been so wound up with stress or worry that I feel I have completely lost control over my mental and emotional state. When I am in the depths of that moment I am sure that there is nothing I can do to fix it save wait it out. At that point I typically don’t feel like doing anything to help myself.
The great thing about using the binaural beats is that all one has to do is sit back, put on a pair of simple stereo headphones and listen to the series of pulses or tones. Inevitably the binaural beats will ALWAYS calm me right down. I am always amazed afterwards at my complete transformation.
Sometimes it will only take ten minutes. Other times when I am really stressed it may take forty minutes. The point is that however long it may take, it works. By the end I am completely in a relaxed state, I can think rationally and I feel like a different person.
Consider the Alternatives
I am fairly sure I am not alone in getting stressed out with life in general. Today’s world can seem a little mad and sometimes it can be hard to keep up. There is always the option of taking some type of pills for relaxation but they will usually have some side effects and they can also stop working.
I truly believe that if you are having a really difficult time staying in a relaxed state for whatever reason then it is imperative that you explore alternative methods to drugs.
Binaural beats have worked for me in a very big way. As I mentioned before it did not seem to matter what my binaural beat recording was specifically designed for… they all relaxed me none the less.
Binaural beats have worked to relax me, they have worked to get rid of tension headaches, and they have worked to allow me to experience different states of mind. I have used them at all hours of the day or night depending on when I need them. I have even used them at three in the morning when my mind was racing and I was sure I would be awake all night. I bring my binaural beats with me on my ipod when I travel and listen to them on the airplane to pass the time and to keep me relaxed.
