Hi Peggy,
One more thing... it doesn't really matter how long you listen to the individual CD's before you move on. You can basically just listen to each one when you feel you need it. I have listened to two seperate CD's in one day before and there are no problems.
Cheers.

Hi Peggy,

I don't think it is a big deal to overlap affirmations as long as when you are focusing on one of them, you really focus your energy on that one affirmation. I have worked with several affirmations at one time and definitely still believe it to work.

As far as whether to go for a multi-disc program or just to use seperate CD's it depends on what you want to accomplish. Typically the multi-disc longer programs are going to be more intensive and work at "re-training" the brain so that the positive effects you get from the entrainment will last longer and have deeper effects. The individual CD's can be equally as good except that they tend to focus on one area as opposed to dealing with the brain as a whole... if that makes sense. The individual CD's are great and can be very useful for reaching one type of mind state but the multi-disc programs will usually have a far stronger effect. Hope that helps!

Cheers,
Allison

I've been interested in and have been reading up on all this "mind entrainment" and I'm confused about a couple of things. I hear that it's not a good idea to overlap affirmations while listening to these but at the same time I've learned that it is suggested we should incorporate affirmations or positive thinking as in the Holosync program. Because of this I am unable to make a final decision as to which program to start. Also, one program contains a number of discs to listen to for a specified time-frame and another company just has alot of different CD's to listen to depending on what you want to accomplish. Which is better? the set program or the individual CD's? and for how long do you listen to the individual ones before moving on to the next, or does it matter???
